Established in 1995, and now operating from 30 regional centres in the UK, Progressive Legal is a market leader in accredited public CPD training courses for the legal profession. They also offer a significant number of bespoke ‘in-house’ courses to individual practices and an increasing range of other services to support lawyers throughout England and Wales.
The Challenge
Progressive Legal promotes its courses using highly targeted direct mail marketing, sending approximately 10,000 units of mail each week. Our challenge was to improve on the existing service provided by a specialist mailing house, in the following key areas:
- Improved targeting of marketing materials
- Competitive pricing
- Efficient and reliable delivery
The Solution
After detailed discussions with Progressive Legal, we recommended our established Document Exchange service as the best delivery solution for their in-house produced campaigns.
We then created a bespoke collection and delivery schedule, with all outgoing mail collected from Progressive Legal’s office each Monday and Wednesday evening and delivered by 9am the following morning using Document Exchange’s closed and private mail network.
Because the UK legal profession uses Document Exchange extensively, we discovered that 85% of Progressive Legal’s target customers were already DX Members, which immediately eliminated any risk of outgoing mail sent via the Document Exchange failing to arrive at its destination. Furthermore, time spent having to address outgoing mail was significantly reduced as Document Exchange clients use a unique ‘quick addressing’ system.
