1. How much does DX Exchange cost?

DX Exchange is a membership-based service payable on an annual basis. Your Membership consists of:

      • One-off joining fee of £250
      • Annual subscription for use of the DX service
      • Annual box charge to cover local posting (for Members who join one of our larger Exchanges)

The DX Exchange service provides typical savings of 30% compared to Royal Mail 1st class.

Additional charges apply to Exchanges on customer premises for their exclusive use (available subject to access)

2. How can I find other DX Members’ addresses?

Our DX Directory Services enable you to search for other DX Members’ addresses in several different ways according to your preference. Click here for an immediate search of the DX Online Directory.

3. What happens if I find out an item has not been delivered?

Unfortunately, unless you have used DX Tracked Mail, it is unlikely that we will be able to give you information about an individual item of mail. In the unlikely event that an item of mail does not arrive, please report it to our customer services team so they can log the details as it will help us to identify any trends within our network. We ask that every item displays your DX sender details so that we can return any mis-addressed mail to you if we are unable to deliver it.

4. How can I find out up-to-date service information for today’s deliveries in my area?

To check if there are any problems with collections or deliveries in your area, please check the Today's Service page. Please note that this report is for DX Exchange or DX Mail services ONLY.

5. How do you arrive at the value of my annual subscription?

We set the cost of your annual subscription based on your mail usage profile and therefore the network capacity that we need to reserve for you. We monitor usage regularly to ensure your subscription is in line with your requirements and any additional usage beyond your subscription will be invoiced during the year.

6. Can I have an Exchange on my premises?

DX welcomes the opportunity to grow its Exchange network through Members who are willing to host an open Exchange on their premises. If you are interested in hosting an open Exchange, please contact us on 0844 371 3335.

Restricted Exchanges for exclusive use are available subject to access. Additional charges will apply. Please contact us on 0844 371 3335 for further details.

7. How long does delivery take and is it guaranteed?

The DX Exchange service provides pre-9am next working day delivery as standard. DX was rated highest for quality of service in Postcomm’s 2007 business user survey – testimony to our reliable and trusted service. For additional peace of mind, DX does provide tracked delivery services for DX Members which offer guaranteed delivery (or your money back) for your most important mail items.

8. How much mail can I send?

You can send as much mail as you wish through the DX Exchange Network – in fact the more you send, the more you will save. We monitor usage regularly to ensure your subscription is in line with usage requirements and any additional usage beyond your subscription will be invoiced during the year.
