Business Intelligence Reporting Developer

To support the ongoing reporting requirements across DX Operations and the wider Group by creating robust, standardised measures and data extracts using SQL Server SSIS, SSRS and Business Objects Universe Designer

To manage the collation, analysis and reporting of business unit performance metrics and support business unit change initiatives.

The role will involve high levels of report development during a period of system change and KPI and business process review.

To support Operations and the wider DX Group in developing reporting solutions from the DX Enterprise Systems.

To support Continual Service Improvement and Cost and Efficiencies analysis and data for cross-functional Business Improvement plans

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To develop measures and processes to effectively and efficiently report the performance of DX Group Operations.
  2. To work with the New Business and Account Management Teams to support the development of contractual reporting to Clients.
  3. To assist the Contact Centres with developing measures, reporting and forecasting.
  4. To streamline reporting across DX Group.
  5. Development of automated suite of reports using BusinessObjects.
  6. Work closely with IT and Business to develop business metadata from DX data warehouse
  7. Work closely with IT DBAs to capture data correctly and efficiently.  Provide detailed Business Requirement Documents for reporting purposes – requesting bespoke reporting views, ETL data extracts, Universe Design connections and configurations
  8. To support the testing and validation of all Performance Team reporting, ensuring accurate and documented reporting
  9. To manage the timely production and co-ordination of regular business unit performance reports, variance analysis and Service Centre league tables.
  10. To manage the ongoing key performance indicator development, and use benchmarking with external sources to help identify improvements.
  11. To provide data analysis and interpretation for all managers within the business unit.
  12. Build relations with the service centre & distribution managers in order to support them with understanding the business unit performance indicators and to ensure continuing relevance.
  13. Support the delivery of team targets.
