DX Find@Will

For years, there has been widespread support among solicitors for a nationwide wills register. Yet the number of wills being registered by the various competing services has been quite limited. The problem is that firms need to spend additional time and money to register a will and the registration process in itself does little to improve wills management or estate administration. In short, simply registering a will provides few benefits - either for clients or their lawyers.

Users download software that enables them to build and maintain their own local wills register. Selected data from a local register is then automatically synchronised with the DX Find@Will national wills register. Unlike other registers currently available, DX Find@Will goes beyond the simple web-based environment, enabling the solicitor to maintain control of their own data in-house as well as have a built-in disaster recovery system from the online database.

The new service streamlines the whole process of will searching, when dealing with a probate or administration case. With its unique geo-coded directory of legal firms, it is very simple to initiate the production of enquiry letters for non-DX Find@Will firms in areas where the deceased lived or worked. Letters are centrally printed and despatched by DX, with a full audit trail and comprehensive reporting.
